End of the Age Is Here: Are You Ready?

The most important decision you will ever make in your life is who or what you put your faith in.

“When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Matthew 16:2

The days of Noah before the flood were characterized by pervasive wickedness, deceit, sexual immorality, violence, and coldness of hearts. The same wickedness existed in Sodom and Gomorrah.

The world at that time was going through each day doing the same thing and unaware of the approaching end. Approximately 150,000 people did not make it through today, and tomorrow the same thing will happen again.

When tragedy and disaster happens there is often this false idea that those affected did something wrong or perhaps God was angry with them. The truth is time ran out for them and any opportunity to repent has been lost forever.

Jesus said “those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them”, do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

Are You Being Deceived?

Do not make the mistake of believing that you are too smart or wise to be deceived. Eve was deceived by the serpent (Satan) in the garden of Eden and Adam listened to his wife. Why would they do something if they really believed that they would die.

Lies have the power to destroy you if you believe them. Believing the truth has the power to save you. How do you get forgiveness of your sins and eternal life? Believe God when he said salvation is only through his son Jesus Christ. Believe, obey, and be saved. Eternity is a long time!

“See to it that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” Matthew 24

The Loud Call From Heaven: Change Your Direction

Turn now and make peace with God and do not wait until it is too late. You are not promised tomorrow so take that to heart. That was the mistake made during the time of Noah as well who did not listen to the pleas from Noah to repent and make peace with God. It is a tactic of the enemy (Satan) to distract you with the problems of this world and your wants until time runs out for you.

It is like a fire coming over a hill and you run to get on a boat that is leaving. The ship master says he does not know you (there is no relationship) and turns you away. You are terrified at that point knowing it is over and nothing can save you. Not your good works, not your money, your friends, your intellect, your reputation, not even God. Salvation cannot be earned,

That is the experience of an unbeliever when his/her life ends or any unbeliever that is still here for the return of Jesus.

There is good news however. If you are reading this, it is not too late!

There is a difference between knowing of someone and having an actual friendship. There are people in an apartment building for example, that you say hello to politely each day and probably know their name. In fact you could know a lot about them as well. If you went to their door and said you wanted to live there, they would say no, they do not know you.

The word repent means to change your direction. It is your thinking and beliefs that determine your direction. Jesus started his ministry with the message of repentance first. There is a profound change that happens when you do not make excuses and are willing to see yourself as you really are. God often makes things difficult when there is a call to repentance, so that you do not go over a cliff.

The command is to repent and ask God for forgiveness. There is a change in behavior and words, that is noticeable and persistent, when true repentance happens. The opposite of repentance is excuses, apologies, self-deception, denial, and lies.

There are two doors that close. The first is the end of your life when you leave this world. The second door is the one to heaven that closes if you have no real relationship with Jesus.

Can you honestly say that Jesus is more important than absolutely anything else?

Most people do not make it to heaven. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13

Eternity Is Approaching Fast

This world is a temporary place that God has created, giving you a fixed amount of time to turn to the Lord. Do not make more of this world than what it is! The world system is spiritually dead and opposes God. It will keep you bound unless you turn to God.

This is life for rent. None of the riches or anything else here is really yours. Jesus said all the gold and all the silver is mine. Your very life however is what is in play.

The present creation is now passing away at a faster rate and you will perish with it as well if you are not in the Ark. You cannot live in two worlds. It is in the dark times when the grace of God is even more abundant.

What I can tell you after 25 years as a Christian is that God loves you, knows your past, and where you are now. Make peace with God through Christ Jesus for the new and everlasting life. Know peace, healing, truth, and relationship with God before it is too late. Do not harden your hearts and resist the Lord when he knocks at your door.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away”
Matthew 24:35

Christianity is not a religion. It is a faith-based relationship with Jesus Christ.

Religion vs Christianity Explained

There is nothing more purely of the devil than the religious spirit. Jesus during his ministry saved all kinds of sinners. His ministry was one of reconciliation and not judgement. There was one group however that he called “sons of hell.” They were the religious leaders of the day. He was telling all of us that this is going to be the problem.

Religious hypocrisy is the enemy and the western world has this as a foundation that extends its tentacles into all aspects of society. Whether it is government, school, workplace, church, or relationships. The subtle message is sin can be defeated by covering it up and follow a bunch of rules. That does bring law, order and civility (not a bad thing) and so meets the purposes of the world.

The problem is this has nothing to do with Christianity, salvation, and spiritual freedom. In fact, it sells you a false salvation with the underlying false narrative “follow the rules and everything will be okay.” Truthfully if this were the case, Buddhists would be saved and make it into heaven, since admittedly they are better at following the rules than you or me. By all accounts they live a quiet wholesome life of peace and do not get mixed up in moral corruption.

Have you noticed families that outwardly seems like a perfect picture of Christianity have children that radically rebel. This is the work of a religious spirit that causes frustration, guilt, anger, and finally rebellion. The corrupted seed planted in their heart is one of “rules are more important than Love.” The lie progresses to “If you do not follow all the rules all the time then you are bad and undeserving of God’s love.

This is how the death spiral works:

1. You are told to follow (worship) the rules.
2. You realize in your heart that you cannot.
3. You learn how to put on the cover of hypocrisy.
4. You now start trying to earn your salvation.
5. You become self-righteous and that destroys your faith.
6. You either become angry with God and rebel or worse start afflicting others with accusation and judgment.

Jesus said – “I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees (religious leaders), you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” – Matt 5:20

The religious leaders were self-serving rule followers however they were also hypocrites. They would steal from widows and criticized Jesus when he had healed a woman on the sabbath. They had an outer display of their righteousness, while neglecting love, mercy, and kindness. You can tell a hypocrite by the fact that they spend a lot of time talking about others sins and flaws instead of their own.

The Greatest Commandment of Love

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. -Matthew 22:34

Jesus was saying the commandment of love is the fulfillment of the law. For example you are not going to steal from a neighbor if you follow the commandment of love.

There is the false belief that salvation is by faith and works. Wrong! The thief dying on the cross did nothing to earn salvation, however he unlike the other thief, did repent and made it into heaven.

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” -Luke 23:39

The meaning of works is following the commandments. So it is a contradiction since we are all sinners and cannot follow the law perfectly all the time. So what happens when we fail to do that?

Of course you should follow the commandment of love, and if you love God then you will do that, although not perfectly. The point is you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone and nothing else. If this bothers you, then maybe you have been following religious (false) beliefs.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.” -Ephesians 2:8

As a new Christian, the first thing that the devil will do is attack you with legalism. Sadly in the western church what is said and what is conveyed are two different things. They preach love but convey a righteousness from the law (rule following). The problem is that kills your faith and the freedom in Christ, and puts you into a spiritual battle to get out of that self-righteous prison. This is the problem with the western church.

We have no righteousness of our own. Jesus Christ is our righteousness.

Your salvation is 100% based on your faith in Jesus. In fact, Jesus also distinguished between what you believe in your mind versus your heart. God looks at your heart to know what you really believe. Your mind can sometimes change based on emotions and circumstances.

How to Know the Truth

Know the Truth and Conquer Deception

There is nothing more important than knowing the truth. For example, say you are traveling somewhere with your family, and you arrive at a fork in the road. There is a man there that seems trustworthy. He speaks to you with kindness and concern, telling you that you must stay left since there have been reports of a band of marauders attacking and killing people on the other road. He tells you to stay left, calls you friend, and assures you all will be fine. The problem is you were just deceived, and in fact there is a killer waiting to ambush you on the road going left.

Jesus warns us in Matthew 24 and emphasized how deception would be rampant in this time where we are now.

Lies have the power to destroy you if you believe them, and live your life based on the lies. So the question as a Christian is how do you know if what you are being taught is 100% the truth? You should not believe half-truths either since they are designed to lead you astray and even more difficult to discern.

Christianity without relationship is religion. Start with loving the truth from your heart and wanting to know the truth. God knows if you love the truth. How do you know what truth is and what is sound doctrine?

The most important point is going to a reliable source. Sometimes others are really telling you what they think and believe. Without learning to read scripture for yourself you won’t ever know. The holy spirit is the real teacher. But before all that, you must have relationship with God through Jesus.

“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. -John 14:25

So start with praying for proper discernment, revelation and truth so you are not deceived. God is relational and wants to speak to you. Without relationship you cannot discern what is truth and thereby reject false teaching.

Let God also lead you to reliable sources and warn of false teachers. We all start with listening to pastors whether it is the Christian channel or a local church. My strong recommendation is to start with prominent online pastors such as Joseph Prince, Perry Stone, and Baruch Korman for best results.

Learn to listen to the holy spirit for knowledge and understanding. Meditate as you read and verify if what is being said aligns with the word of God. Read several chapters before a quoted scripture and several chapters after to get CONTEXT. Extremely important to do your truth check. Context is crucial to interpreting scripture correctly and knowing the truth. The bible interprets itself.

For example, someone tells you a Christian has already repented and done with sin since they are now a believer. The problem is if you read in book of revelation where Jesus tells the churches to repent then that does not add up. The truth is Christians will repent after being saved. Paul talks about the struggles with sin in Romans 7. So read all of the new testament yourself and you will be prepared to question false doctrine.

Another false doctrine is if someone tells you the poor go to heaven since Jesus mentions that in the beatitudes. You cannot be a blessing to others when afflicted with poverty. If you are saved by grace alone then your bank account is irrelevant. Are there not poor people that are evil and unrepentant?

Another false doctrine is that salvation is based in part on your efforts concerning works of the law. Salvation cannot be earned since it is a free gift (Ephesians 2:8). The work of salvation has already been done at the cross, so your efforts have no effect. Your part is to firstly believe that, and then strive to live a life of faith and obedience.

You are called to faith and not the law. Your salvation does not give you a license to sin. In fact, as a believer you will resist sin whereas before you did not care. So believe in the salvation you have, repent when you need to, and trust in the Lord. Keep it simple. Jesus Christ and him crucified is the love of God. Often the stumbling block for Christians is believing in their heart that Jesus really loves them and wants a relationship with them as an individual.

Is the World Wearing You Down?

You can learn a lot about animal behavior on the nature channel such as wolves, lions, and goats. Take the wolf for example, they impose a highly structured social order within the pack where everyone has a position and role. Not unlike how government, business, and nations organize themselves. The wolf is smart, cunning, vicious, and relentless. They will chase young, old, and sick deer for example until the deer becomes exhausted (worn out). So the first strategy is picking the right target, separating it from the group, and then running it down.

Jesus often referred to particular animal when explaining how evil works. The book of revelation prophecies a coming one-world government as a beast kingdom represented by four distinct animals.

The prophet Daniel spoke of end times persecution as well:

“He (antichrist) will speak words against the Most High God and wear down (oppress) the saints of the Most High, and he will intend to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time (3.5 years).” – Daniel 7:25

My point is that this is a tactic of the devil to wear you down each day, after day, after day. The enemy starts with attacking your mind like a swarm of flies. Then the enemy will use anyone around you that he can take captive to do his will. It could be words, negative attitude, deceit, fear, mental illness, or bullying for example.

So you have to learn how to rest and practice spiritual warfare since you are told the source of your battle is spiritual. Form new habits so that you spend much less time with negative stuff such as news, online videos, wrong kind of music, movies and other things, It really works and you will be happier. Run from shows with sex and violence since they are corrupting.

Fellowship with the right Christians that obey and live the Law of Love.

Listen to and read the bible for faith, revelation truth, spiritual rest, and guidance. The word of God will align and transform your mind each day. “The sword of the spirit is the word of God.” – Eph 6:17

Learn how deception from the enemy works to lead you astray and destroy your life.

End Times Prophecy and Revelation

The bible explain how events are going to unfold as we enter the last days and what you need to know. There is a new world order coming however it is not going to last long. Europe is going to emerge as a preeminent world military power and pursue enemies from the South.

Matthew 24 – There will be natural disasters, many wars, increasing wickedness, coldness of hearts, and many false prophets.

Romans 1:24 – “They started worshiping creation instead of the creator who is forever praised”

Book of Revelation and book of Jude

Antichrist and Globalism: The Final Act

The book of Daniel has a lot of end times prophecy concerning the tribulation period. The Antichrist will start a war and invade some middle east countries (king of the south) that ends with a peace agreement.

That starts a seven year tribulation period. There will be a period of peace at this time although natural disasters and such will continue. After 3.5 years, the Antichrist breaks the peace agreement and terrible times will start with another war.

Daniel 8:23 – During this time when the world has become completely wicked, a leader with a fierce or bold appearance will emerge. The Antichrist is a European political leader (king of the north), from an alliance of nations that comprise the beast kingdom. He will invade the middle east again and this time Israel as well. “And with deceit he shall attack and destroy many suddenly when they are at peace.”

The Antichrist will rule from Jerusalem for 42 months, persecute Christians to death, and abolish the daily sacrifice from the temple. He will also magnify himself above God and blaspheme his name. He is destroyed by the splendor of the return of Jesus.

Daniel 11:32 – “He (Antichrist) will corrupt unbelievers with flattery to turn them against the covenant people of God (Israel/Christians), but the people who know their God shall firmly resist him (be strong and do great exploits)”.

Two Witnesses (Rev 11)

Consider the two witnesses and their 42 month ministry as a milestone of the last days. They will have the power to cause droughts, plagues, and turn waters into blood. Anyone that tries to harm them will be devoured with the judgment fire of God. The two witnesses will be killed at the end of their ministry and the world will celebrate since the witnesses tormented them. But after three and a half days they will be publicly raised from the dead by God. This is a sign as well that God will resurrect his saints.

Whore of Babylon (Rev 17)

This is an end times gentile city that rules over the kings of the earth. That great city has made many nations wealthy with trade, she is a political power, and full of wickedness. God will cause the beast kingdom to destroy the city with fire and permit their rule. This will change the world order briefly so as to fulfill God’s purpose. Remember, God is sovereign.

This is in fact a harbor city since the bible describes the terror as arriving ships witness the city burning. This is where the merchants would bring their goods to sell and now that is gone. God warns his people to come out of her so they do not receive her plagues.

Rev 17:15 – “The beast shall hate the whore and make her desolate”

The Mark of the Beast

This is a digital tattoo or implant under the skin on your right hand or forehead, that brands you for destruction. The Antichrist world leader will require you to receive the mark during the tribulation to buy or sell anything. Remember, what you put your faith in is the most important decision you will ever make, and the setup paved with lies and fear is now coming your way.

There is a declaration and last severe warning (or plea) that anyone taking the mark of the beast have no hope left for salvation. It could buy you a couple of more years near the end but consider the cost.

Learn how deception and false doctrine will detroy many as we approach the last days.

Call to Encouragement

Jesus said from Matthew 28:18 – “all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me”

Rev 14:9 is a call and encouragement for the saints to patient endurance and perseverance through all trials (tests). If you fall away during imprisonment, hunger, homelessness or hatred from others you are not really a believer. You are still trying to live in two worlds and don’t want your faith to cost you anything.

Rev 12:11 – “They defeated the enemy (satan) by the blood of the lamb (Jesus), and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives even unto death.”

At some point the church everywhere should start resembling again the early church of Romans 16 as an example of true Christian fellowship.

John 13:34 – A new command I give you: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have genuine love for one another.”

There are many Christians that will endure the great tribulation until the Lord returns. Why would God remove all Christians and have no witnesses?

The Great Commission: Witness!

Jesus says in Matt 24:14 – “and this gospel will be preached throughout all the world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.” There is Rev 7:14 that point to believers who go through the great tribulation.

Rev 20:11 – “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.”

Rev 21:4 – “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Spiritual Warfare

Love is a tactic of spiritual warfare. Do not step into the trap of offence or unforgiveness, giving the devil any advantage. Live the authentic life, turn to Jesus at all times and for all things, Do not swim upstream all the time by resisting what God is trying to do in your life. If you do not know then be still, wait patiently on the Lord, seek with a pure heart, listen and obey. Associate only where there is true fellowship and true worship.

Resist the attacks of the devil knowing your struggle is not with flesh and blood (others), it is with spiritual wickedness. The sword of the spirit is the word of God and your weapon when under attack. Meditate on it to renew your mind and strengthen your faith. Speak it to yourself and others as encouragement. Select what you watch, are around and listening to all the time since the wrong things have an erosive effect.

2 Peter 5:9 – Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your fellow believers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of trials and suffering.”

2 Tim 4:7 – When the devil attacks, then stand. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Lead with Love – witness from love and not pride or selfish motives. Testify to the goodness of God and how the Lord has blessed and changed your life. Answer questions making known that we are all sinners and how sin destroys. Some will listen and some won’t. It is something you live each day in your daily life as well.

You are not being a friend to anyone when you support and accept a lifestyle that is destroying their soul. Never judge either!

Proverbs 18:21 and Matt 12:36 – Your words have power. In fact the “power of life and death” are in them.

Consider your words carefully knowing you can speak life or death to another. Sometimes you can decide to say nothing at all. This is a time to prepare your hearts and minds. Do not be troubled by the current things as the Lord said.

The great commission is the salvation of souls. Any work that does not support or directly accomplish that is in vain.

The word of God is the source for revelation truth, joy, power, comfort and warfare. Always refer to the word of God and consider the early church for examples of pure authentic Christianity. Why think yourself so different from them?

Faith, Prayer and hearing/reading the word of God then work together.

Spend more time in quiet stillness and have your mind continually renewed through meditating on the LIVING word of God.
